Pima Canyon Trail

No park fees. The best time to visit this trail is September through May.
Hours - Dawn to Dusk
Length & Rating - This is a 10.10 mile, out and back trail located just 20 minutes from us. Elevation gain is 3,339 ft. This trail is generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 6 h 20 min to complete.
No restrooms. Bicycles and dogs are not allowed. There is a drinking fountain at the beginning of the trails. The parking lot holds about 50 cars.
Exclusive Services
This is a beautiful hike! The first dam is about 1.5 miles in. The second dam is another mile in. This is as far as we went. There's not much shade for about 1.7 miles or so. Just over 1.7 miles in you'll see some cottonwood trees and some good shade if you want to sit for a bit and enjoy a snack.
