Alamo Springs Trail
14810 N Secret Springs Dr, Marana, AZ 85658
This park is 10.5 miles from Windfeather Resort and is about a 15-minute drive.
No park fees. Restrooms are available at beginning of trail. You will need to stop at a manned gate on Secret Springs Dr. on your way to the trails. Just let them know you're going hiking. Park in the Wild Burrow parking lot a short way past the manned gate.
Hours - Dawn to Dusk and open year round. Recommend starting early during the hot summer months.
Length & Rating of Trail for Alamo Springs Trail - 6.60 mile loop. 1250' elevation change. The trail has a lot of rocks and climbing up. This is a moderately challenging trail.

The Tortolita Trails has 29 miles of trails throughout the area. There is parking and restrooms available at the beginning of the Wild Burrow trailhead. All of the trails start off on the Wild Burrow trailhead, then you can branch off onto other trails. You will enjoy some beautiful, young and old Saguaro cacti, incredible rock formations, and amazing mountains views. Be one with nature as you climb rocks and small boulders on the Alamo Springs trail.
We started out on the Wild Burrow trail, then veered off onto the Alamo Springs trail. There are a couple of benches along this trail which makes for a nice place to sit and rest.
This is an incredibly beautiful, rugged trail, and would highly recommend it if you're up for the task.
